Wednesday 8 November 7.30pm

University of Reading

'We really have to talk about…’

(Plastic, dying species, rising water levels, dysfunctional societies, a planet we are bringing to its knees…)

How do we ease ourselves in to the conversation we fear the most, and need the most? With music and irreverent poetry, in the company of a musician and speaker who believe that change is not only urgently essential, but that it is to be welcomed and embraced. We can use it as an opportunity to liberate ourselves from the entrapment of our age.

‘This could be a good time.’

Significantus has been created by internationally acclaimed composer pianist Lola Perrin, and is touring with a different speaker in each location. It is performed here with Outrider Anthems’ and Reading’s Festival of the Dark director, Jennifer Leach. The piano suite and talk will be followed by an opportunity for the audience to share their responses.

Free pre-concert talk with Lola Perrin, 6.00-7.15pm.

This is a free event but TICKETS MUST BE PRE-BOOKED: book here
